Platinum Zoo Adventure - Terms & Conditions

• Platinum Zoo Adventures are subject to age restrictions: Big Cat Encounters 15yrs+, Dingo Encounter 4yrs+ & Echidna Encounter 1yrs
• 40% of the full adult amount is a non-refundable deposit
• This deposit is also non-transferable if cancellation is within 48hrs of the day
• Platinum Zoo Adventures are subject to the weather. Alternative arrangements will be made if bad weather occurs before or during the experiences. Big Cat Encounters are the most sensitive to this condition. If necessary the Big Cat Encounter (only) will be rescheduled for later in the day or the next available date, at the handler’s discretion. No personal items or food are permitted on the animal experiences. During Big Cat Encounters. NO CAMERAS are allowed
• The package includes an exclusive Platinum Photography Package
• Full mobility is required for most experiences. Big Cat Encounters require guests be fit and healthy, have full motor skill capacity, be able to walk at a reasonable pace and be able to squat/kneel down and stand up quickly & without assistances. Limps, wheelchairs & walking aids are not permitted on Big Cat Encounters. If any participants arrive and cannot display full mobility the encounters will not go ahead for their safety and our animals
• Enclosed footwear must be worn during the Platinum Zoo Adventure
• Clothing should be fitted and not overly baggy or frilly etc
• Pants should be at least knee length or longer. NO short shorts, skirts or dresses
• No over powering scents/perfumes and no loud accessories (bells, bracelets/bangles etc.)
• Shoes that have been recently worn around grazing animals (eg. horse boots) are not allowed
• All participants must agree to follow all instructions given by the keepers and guide at all times
• Participants may be asked to cease encounters at any time for whatever reason at the keeper’s discretion
• Please ensure that your hands are clean prior to beginning animal experiences
• Please remember that our animals are conditioned not trained. They are quite capable of exercising their natural instincts
• Do not under any circumstances attempt to roughly handle our animals
• Interaction between each animal varies. The keeper will inform you of the interaction restrictions before each animal encounter is conducted
• Australia Zoo does not take any responsibility for any injuries that are received. First Aid will be called if required
