Possum Photos

A new development in the Native Mammal department is possum photos. Our beautiful Mountain Brush-tail Possum, Hope, makes the journey down to the photo studio every day at 11am. Decked out in her harness and lead, we let her explore the area while she waits for her guests. We have erected a special area for her, where she can climb over perches and search for the blossoms we've added.

When someone arrives to get their picture taken, Hope will sit on their lap or shoulder and will be given a tasty treat like a grape. This friendly little girl loves her food, so it usually entices a picture perfect smile out of her! Come and visit us next time you're at the Zoo, we would love to introduce you to our beautiful possums.
