Crocodile feeding time

As we head into the hotter part of the year, this means the amount of feeding each week is increasing. For newer members of the team like me, it's a great opportunity to learn new things, and when you start to feed crocodiles these guys are where you begin - the Freshwater Crocodile.This is 'Old Mr Freshie' and his wife 'Blondie'. Old Mr Freshie is the oldest crocodile we have here at the Zoo and is thought to be about 130 years of age. It's a great feeling to be progressing and learning new things, and with such a great group of guys with a wealth of knowledge to learn from it's bound to be heaps of fun for me in the future.
