Corporate sponsorship
Sci-Fleet Toyota
Sci-Fleet Toyota have been corporate sponsors of Australia Zoo since 2004.
Sci-Fleet Toyota kindly donated three vehicles in order for us to continue our vital rescue, rehabilitation and conservation work.
These vehicles were used for a trip to Weipa in far North Queensland, on which Andrew Sci-Fleet joined Steve and the Australia Zoo crew to help attach satellite transmitters to wild Saltwater Crocodiles. We are now collecting vital information on the movements of all of these crocodiles, including the croc Steve named Sci-Fleet.
This information is essential in order to promote a better understanding of these ecologically important animals and their continued conservation in the wild, and it has allowed us a glimpse into the crocodile's secretive world.

The Asian Small-clawed Otters are a favorite attraction for many, and visitors are seen stopping for hours, watching in amazement as the otters dart around the enclosure and slide down the waterfall.

Dave from Fujifilm also had the opportunity of traveling up to Weipa with the Australia Zoo crew to assist with attaching satellite transmitters to wild Saltwater Crocodiles. With his support, we are also now collecting data on the croc Steve named Fuji.
