Cop a load of all the entertainment at Australia Zoo!
Naturally, entertainment is a part of the animal shows and animal encounters at Australia Zoo, however it is most commonly seen in the Animal Planet Crocoseum. By crikey mate, be in the Crocoseum for our daily free-flight BirdsLIVE, one-of-a kind SnakesLIVE, drop-dead gorgeous TigersLIVE and the world famous CrocsLIVE.
Steve and Terri have appointed three larrikins (Ben, Adam and Jeremy) as your masters of ceremonies for all the action in the Crocoseum. These blokes are a dynamic team, giving patrons a great experience in their daily ‘Crike-Off' competitions, or when allowing guests to show off their best Steve or Terri impersonation. These blokes are not your typical MC's but by crikey they are a whole lot of fun and ready for a great time!
You may stumble across Adam, Jeremy or Ben performing their usual antics; these lively acts keep all staff and guests on their toes as the mischievous trio go about their daily activities. Just recently the boys have introduced various interactive children’s activities throughout the Zoo. These activities include games such as ‘Red Rover, Red Rover’, ‘Steve Says’, ‘Crocs and Snakes’ and ‘Duck, Duck, Crocodile’. If you win a game you receive a Crocodile Hunter prize, and if you lose, you might get a consolation prize - an autographed photo of Ben, Adam and Jeremy (not so popular!).
So if you see any of the entertainment team during your visit, make sure you say hi as they give away prizes daily!

Sometimes the Crocoseum party is crashed by a different set of Irwins. See if you can tell the difference as they come out of nowhere to show the Croc Hunters how it is really done!

Be sure to keep an eye out for this one! Let him teach you how NOT to handle a snake… but be careful as he’s a little smelly, as a Yobbo tends to be.

Have you had a lice check lately? Well, cancel the appointment and visit Australia Zoo to receive a free one from our cheeky Gorilla, 'Bishki'.
He's a naughty boy and loves nothing more than causing mayhem for his manic zoo keepers who never really know the best way to handle him.
If you spot them, sit back and watch the hilarity unfold.

Look out for the wacky Emu Riders as they get about in ridiculous style... These three are triple trouble!
The Emus are as nosy as they are goofy, and spare no one as they run, peck and squawk their way around the Zoo.
Be sure to take photos and be charmed by these loopy larrikins.

Australia Zoo is known for its animal diversity, from Big Cats to Crocodiles. However this particular creature is very shy until approached. Just what is it? Visit Australia Zoo to find out. Tip - it has been hand raised.

Larger than life and certainly big for his boots, big ol'Stevo is looking for you!
He might have trouble getting through doors, but he’s still out and about for hugs! You won't want to miss getting a photo with this bloke!

Keeping big smiles on little faces is BW Croc, our friendliest crocodile at the Zoo. She has a big heart and just loves entertaining, and getting cuddles from kids when she is out and about in the Zoo.
BW is the guest judge of the Crike-Off competition in the Animal Planet Crocoseum and can often be seen dancing away to the music in between the shows!

They say Santa only comes once a year. Well, at Australia Zoo the big man in red visits for a full month before Christmas!
So make sure you let the jolly bearded fellow know what you want under the tree! Santa’s even been known to give gifts to the crocs too! Crikey!

During the holiday season of 2004, some very talented local high schools had the opportunity to be Crocoseum stars at Australia Zoo. They wrote, directed and performed in their very own shows, before the animal attractions appeared.
Their costumes were vibrant and innovative. Fun was had by the students and audiences alike!

Other Entertainment
Australia Zoo has had many different faces take part in the fun in the Crocoseum. It seems everyone wants a piece of the Croc Hunter's home, and we are more than happy to have them!
Guests have included the energetic Dorothy the Dinosaur and the Wiggles characters Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword and also that loveable cuddly dancer Humphry B Bear.
You couldn’t help but feel the good vibes created by the Watoto Singing choir, who came all the way from Uganda. The Allgoods Fashion parade gave the Crocoseum some extra flair, with even some of the Zoo Crew getting involved in the Crocoseum cat walk.
Victorian/NSW whip-cracking champion, Frederica, showed everyone how to have a true crack!
Other guests you may have encountered are Elvis, Doctor Love, Braveheart, Acrobats, The King and Queen, Dracula... and more!
Make sure you grab your seat in the Crocoseum for all the fun and action!
