Australia Zoo - Animal Encounters

Get up close and personal with one of our gorgeous Sumatran or Bengal Tigers during our tiger photo session. You will think you are in Southeast Asia with the authentic looking surroundings that create an amazing backdrop for your photographic package. You will get the chance to see one of these critically endangered animals up close and give it a pat while our professional photographer captures the moment.

Timing and Days:
1. One tiger photo sessions are held each morning
2. Tiger photo sessions are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
3. Tiger photo sessions start at 9.00am and run for approximately 15 minutes.

Package includes:
1. Entry into Australia Zoo
2. One professional Australia Zoo photographer to capture the moment
3. Eight photos up to 10”x12”

Price and Guest Limit:
1. AUD $450 per tiger photo session for a group of up to four (4) people.
2. The same price will apply if the number of participants is less.

Access to Australia Zoo:
1. As tiger photo sessions are held prior to opening hours, guests are required to be at Australia Zoo's admission gates 20 minutes prior to the photo session, where they will be greeted and escorted into Zoo premises.

Bookings:
1. Bookings should be made in advance through Guest Services at Australia Zoo on (07) 5436 2002 or via email: guestservices@australiazoo.com.au .
2. A non-refundable deposit of AUD $100 will be taken at the time of the booking.

Please Note:
1. During times of inclement weather, the tiger photo session may be postponed to a more comfortable time that day. However, if the participants would like to reschedule their photo session for another day, we will be more than happy to arrange this.
2. Video cameras are not permitted, however still cameras are welcome.

1. Available only to participants who are 15 years of age and above.
2. All participants must agree to follow all instructions by the handlers.
3. You must have full motor skill capacity (no assistance required).
4. Participants may be asked to cease the photo session at any time for whatever the reason at the handler's discretion.
5. Please ensure that your hands are clean prior to beginning the photo session.
6. No personal items or food are permitted during the photo session with the exception of still cameras.
7. Please remember that big cats are predatory animals and are quite capable of exercising their natural instincts, making it essential that all instructions given by the handlers are followed.
8. Do not under any circumstances attempt to roughly handle any of the big cats.
9. Big cats can only be patted on the back; please do not touch their heads or faces.
10. Australia Zoo does not take any responsibility for injuries that are received during the photo session. First Aid will be called if required.
11. An Australia Zoo photographer will be present during the photo session to capture the action. All photos included in the package will be available for collection from the Fuji Photography lab.
