Australia Zoo - Animal Encounters

This is a special opportunity to see inside a working animal hospital where we care for native wildlife around the clock. This behind-the-scenes tour will give you a great appreciation of the importance of every single animal, and of the work our veterinarians and wildlife carers carry out to ensure they are rehabilitated and released back into the wild.

1. No age restrictions apply. A full paying adult must closely supervise children at all times.
2. Participants should be aware that noise levels must be kept to a minimum.
3. Participants must agree to follow the instructions of the tour guide at all times.
4. Due to the nature of a working animal hospital, it may be deemed necessary to terminate a tour at any time. In the event of termination, participants have the option of a refund or to re-schedule.
5. Please ensure that your hands are clean prior to beginning the tour.
6. No food items are permitted on the tour.
7. Please be aware that you are entering a working animal hospital and surgical procedures may take place during your tour.
8. Participants take part in the tour at their own risk.
